Salp swarm algorithm based optimal speed control for electric vehicles

<p>The paper is all about the implementation of a novel bio-inspired metaheuristic<br />salp swarm algorithm (SSA) for speed control brushless DC<br />(BLDC) motor drive that run in sensorless mode. The angular<br />speed evaluated using an extended kalman filter, which the<br />dynamics are nonlinear. error speeds between actual and<br />estimated fed to PID controller. To achieve good transient<br />operation drive, parameters tuned with />SSA. optimum gains determined by minimization integral<br />square and then final validated on laboratory<br />testbed. proposed method also tested various cases check />performance drive. experiments performed at low speeds<br />to know superiority method.</p>
